I am a Texas Roadhouse server of almost 3 years. I resonate the same frustration that's shared amongst my fellow roadies, when we serve large parties with immense dedication and effort, only to receive no tip or an inadequate one. It's disheartening to see how our passion for customer service gets overshadowed by this current tipping system.

To resolve this, we are proposing that Texas Roadhouse institute a policy for automatic gratuity on parties over 6 people. As per findings of Cornell University, adding gratuity for large parties can increase servers' earnings by up to 38% and can minimize the unfairness they often face due to inefficient tipping practices by customers (Lynn, 2016). Moreover, mandatory gratuity will ensure that every server gets fairly compensated for their hard work and will make Texas Roadhouse an even more desirable place to work.

Over the years, Texas Roadhouse has been symbolic of hearty food, friendly service, and the embodiment of southern hospitality. However, it's high time we shift our focus to the livelihood of those providing you with great services.
