Dale Eagle Camera is showcasing a beautiful Bald Eagle nest.  River, an Eagle whose  mate, Obey, has been missing since shortly after 3 baby eaglets were born, has already lost one baby. After being left to fend for herself and 3 babies, sadly one passed. Nature can be cruel, but it is nature.  River has surprisingly been able to raise the other 2 to be healthy and thriving, which we learned from floridas M15, can be rare but doable!  We need to help River!  

Both babies are now terribly entwined in fishing line!! It clearly is worse daily. Many videos on Facebook show the babies in distress.  Especially one baby we watched this morning, 4/24, that could not even move to the edge of the nest to poop, nor could it even turn to eat the fish provided by mom, clearly he/she us struggling! You can see the baby trying to move and cannot even take a step!

Articles recently have confirmed professionals are aware and are willing to attempt to rescue these eagles but they have to have approval! No, it won’t be easy, but many of us truly believe if this was nature taking its course then we don’t intervene, however, this wouldn’t happen if it weren’t for people, therefore WE CAN save these babies and we should! Please sign the petition to help keep this family alive!!

This screenshot shot of DH18 was taken yesterday, Dale Hollow Eagle Cam , and it shows the matted entanglement that STILL persists and entangles both DH17 and DH18.

The AEF (American Eagle Foundation) located in TN are trying to get permits and with the USFWS override the Dale Hollow cam/land owners to pull the eaglet, DH18. The eagle community is coming together. But we can' halt efforts now, not until DH18 is safe. So please keep calling and messaging.

Yet all help offered by experts has been refused by the live cam owners. Two Bald Eagle eaglets/chicks. Tangled in fishing line. Being live streamed for 5 days now.
