Til stendur að loka Bifreiðastöð Oddeyrar (BSO) á þeim stað þar sem stöðin hefur staðið í bráðum 68 ár í miðbæ Akureyrar. Bærinn hefur framlengt leigu á lóðinni til 31. maí 2023 en þá þurfa leigubílstjórar að víkja og rífa húsið á eigin kostnað eða láta flytja það. Ekki hefur verið fundinn nýr staður fyrir húsið eða stöðina. Ég mótmæli því að BSO verði flutt og krefst þess að lóðarleigusamningur verði framlengdur og að húsið fái að vera á sínum stað til frambúðar.

It is planned that the taxi station BSO (Bifreiðastöð Oddeyrar) is closing in its current situation in downtown Akureyri where it has been standing for almost 68 years. The town has prolonged its lease until May 31st 2023, then the taxi drivers must move out, tear the building down at their own cost or have it moved to another location. No future location has been found yet for the station or the building. I protest that the house is moved and demand that it is allowed to stay where it is indefinitely.

Planuje się, że obecny postój taksówek BSO (Bifreiðastöð Oddeyrar) w centrum Akureyri gdzie stoi od prawie 68 lat zostanie zamknięty. Miasto przedłużyło dzierżawę do 31 maja 2023, po czym taksówkarze muszą się wyprowadzić, wyburzyć budynek na własny koszt lub przenieść go w inne miejsce. Nie znaleziono jeszcze przyszłej lokalizacji stacji ani budynku. Protestuję, aby dom został przeniesiony i domagam się, aby mógł pozostać tam, gdzie jest na czas nieokreślony.
