In addition to the immediate adverse issues of jackhammering affecting all the classrooms facing West 93rd Street, after seven (7) years of continuous (endless) building renovations, are you tired of sending your kids to school in a construction pit and only having access to half of the large back yard? If you are a K-2 parent, do you dread the morning drop-off mayhem that ensues every time rain floods the big/little yards? If you are an ICT parent, do you worry about your child safely navigating the various construction-related perils on and around the building? Do you simply want your kids to see actual sunlight from their classroom windows? If you answered “yes”, “maybe”, or even “I’m not sure” to any of the foregoing, then please sign our petition!

Your signature is urgently requested as the more parents who share their concerns with us, the more effective we can be together (working with the PTA and the School’s Administration) in having our local Community Board, the City, NYC Board of Education, School Construction Authority, Con Edison, the Department of Buildings, and the Department of Transportation address the many ongoing issues that are directly affecting our children’s ability to learn, grow and prosper during their many hours, days, weeks, months and years spent at P.S. 333.
