We, Nigerians in Diaspora, are advocating for us to be allowed to vote in the future Nigerian Presidential elections in 2027. To this end, we urge Nigerian leaders to meet our five (5) request urgently:
✅1. A bipartisan support for all 109 Senate members to approve Diaspora Voting Bill before 2027 elections

✅2. Over $24 Billion USD Dollars is remitted annually to Nigeria from us in the diaspora, contributing more than foreign direct investors of only $5 billion annually; with diaspora huge investments we should have a right to vote

✅3.  Diaspora Voting is consistent with global best practices and we call on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Chairman’s full support to advocate for Diaspora voting

✅4. Encourage the strong involvement of all members of the state, local and federal government to encourage diaspora voting for the promotion of good governance, and in building a sustainable Nigerian economy

✅5. Encourage the new Nigerian government and new administration under President Tinubu renewed HOPE agenda to immediately reconstitute for an emergency hearing with all house of assembly members to vote in support of implementing the passage of new the Diaspora Voting Bill so we can vote in diaspora in next election in 2027 and INEC can incorporate diapsora absentee voting measures and portal.
