We, the undersigned, stand united in our mission to shed light on one of the most heart-wrenching and tragic events in human history—the 1971 Genocide in Bangladesh. During the Liberation War, the Pakistan Army perpetrated unimaginable atrocities, leading to the loss of approximately three million lives, with over two hundred thousand women enduring heinous acts of rape. Innocent men, women, and children were mercilessly slaughtered and buried in mass graves, and numerous homes were set ablaze, trapping children inside. Bangladesh, besieged and with limited international assistance, faced a horrifying reality. The brutal acts of crime by the Pakistani army forced ten million individuals to flee to India in search of safety, leaving behind their homes and lives, seeking refuge from the brutality.

Our Mission: We, the signatories of this petition, earnestly call upon the United Nations, the European Union, and the United States of America to formally recognize the 1971 Genocide in Bangladesh as acts of genocide, crimes against humanity, and war crimes. We demand acknowledgment and accountability for the victims of this tragedy, ensuring that their suffering and sacrifices are not forgotten.
