Dear Mr Goodell: Mr. Boger's questionable calls are well-known among NFL fans, and his continued presence as a referee in the NFL is seriously undermining the legitimacy, viability, and reputation of NFL officials. A simple Google search of "Jerome Boger's bad calls" yields no less than 50,000 results, and just last year, Mr. Boger's poor performance rating for the entirety of the regular season excluded him from working in the NFL playoffs. Perhaps this level of controversy is acceptable, even preferable, in the NFL, but in any other field of endeavor, this level of inconsistency and/or incompetency would not be tolerated. I'm asking you, as a football fan, and for the betterment of the game, to remove and/or reassign Jerome Boger from all onfield game-calling/referee duties, and to replace him with someone more skilled in applying the rules of the game in a consistent, decisive, timely and professional manner. (For recent egregious examples, please review the entirety of Titans-Dolphins 2018.) I submit this respectfully, with no malice intended toward Mr. Bogner, in the hope of improving the consistency of applying rules to onfleld play, and making the NFL experience seem more just and equitable to fans and players alike.
