В ноябре 2021 года на странице UMI на популярном криптоагрегаторе CoinMarketCap появилось уведомление: «ЦБ РФ выпустил предупреждение о том, что РОЙ Клуб (UMI) проявляет признаки финансовой пирамиды».

Мы никак не связаны с РОЙ Клубом, а в уведомлении ЦБ РФ и вовсе нет никакой информации о UMI. Поэтому эта информация не соответствует действительности, порочит имя команды UMI, вводит в заблуждение и мешает нашему развитию. 

Прямо сейчас мы активно развиваем на базе высокотехнологичного блокчейна UMI полноценную DeFi-экосистему. Уже успешно функционирует DeFi-платформа UMI OneApp, которую мы постоянно совершенствуем, добавляя различные новые решения. Но каждый новый потенциальный пользователь наших продуктов заходит на страницу UMI в CoinMakertCap, видит уведомление и делает на его основе необъективные ошибочные выводы. При этом на CoinMarketCap представлено множество криптоактивов без какого-либо реального продукта или развития, но они по какой-то причине никаких уведомлений на своих страницах не имеют.

Несмотря на наши старания и развитие, мы все еще маленький криптопроект по меркам криптоиндустрии, поэтому нам сложно достучаться до  руководства CoinMarketCap. Мы неоднократно обращались к представителям CoinMarketCap с просьбой убрать эту плашку, но эти обращения были проигнорированы. Недавно мы опубликовали открытое обращение к сервису, где подробно разобрали всю суть проблемы и в очередной раз призвали руководство CoinMarketCap убрать неправдивую информацию. На проблему также обратили внимание крупные крипто-СМИ:

Помимо криптовалютных изданий о данной проблеме писало множество пользователей как на самой странице UMI на CoinMarketCap, так и в соцсетях CoinMarketCap, Binance и Чанпена Чжао с хештегом #SAVEUMI и призывом убрать несправедливую отметку. 

Однако даже это не заставило CoinMarketCap полноценно рассмотреть ситуацию — все, что мы получили, это стандартный ответ о том, что наш запрос находится на рассмотрении. 

Своими действиями CoinMarketCap рушит истинный дух криптоиндустрии — децентрализацию и свободу. CoinMarketCap — это централизованный сервис, принадлежащий криптовалютной бирже Binance. Все чаще многие пользователи и компании делают вывод, что он злоупотребляет своим доминирующим положением на рынке и ведет неконкурентную борьбу. Алгоритмы добавления различных уведомлений на страницы криптовалют непрозрачны и непонятны, а инструментов для оспаривания таких решений попросту нет. То же самое касается различных сложностей с обновлением и добавлением статистики на агрегаторе. 

Из-за этого мы и многие другие участники рынка сталкиваемся с несправедливостью и большими проблемами, потому что одного уведомления или других некорректных данных на странице крупнейшего криптомонитора достаточно, чтобы опорочить честное имя любого проекта. Binance из маленького островка независимости превратилась в глобальную корпорацию вроде Facebook, Google или Amazon, которая все чаще игнорирует желания пользователей в угоду личным интересам или не хочет/ не может их видеть. 

В сети мы и наши пользователи неоднократно видели информацию о том, что другие криптопроекты тоже не получают должных ответов после возникновения различных проблем. Мы устали стучаться в закрытые двери и поэтому приняли решение создать петицию для привлечения максимального внимания к сложившейся ситуации всех истинных криптоэнтузиастов, стремящихся к справедливости, прозрачности и свободе. Призываем всех сплотиться с целью сообща оказать воздействовать на CoinMarketCap и заставить руководство сервиса пересмотреть свою политику.

В очередной раз призываем CoinMarketCap услышать нас и всех других криптопользователей, разобраться во всех проблемах, в том числе убрать необоснованную плашку со страницы UMI. Мы всегда открыты к диалогу и готовы бороться за справедливость, наше чистое имя и честность в отношении других криптопроектов, которые, так же как и мы, страдают от непрозрачности и медлительности. 

Просим все криптосообщество не быть равнодушными и подписать эту петицию, чтобы вместе вести борьбу с фактически монополистическими действиями на рынке. Увы, но CoinMarketCap все чаще пользуется своим доминирующим положением и тем самым вредит всей индустрии. Иначе завтра на нашем месте может оказаться любой проект криптоотрасли без каких-либо способов повлиять на ситуацию. А, судя по тенденции, таких проектов с каждым днем становится все больше и больше. От команды CoinMarketCap требуем скорейшего восстановления справедливости и удаления необоснованной отметки на странице криптовалюты. С уважением, команда UMI!

Remove unjustified alert from the UMI page on CoinMarketCap

In November 2021, an alert appeared on the UMI page on the popular crypto aggregator CoinMarketCap: "Russian Central Bank issued an alert that the ROY Club (UMI) is showing signs of a pyramid scheme."

We are not related to the ROY Club in any way, and the alert from the Russian Central Bank contains no information whatsoever about UMI. Therefore, this information does not reflect the reality, discredits the reputation of the UMI team, misleads users and hinders our development. 

Right now, we are actively developing an entire DeFi ecosystem based on the high-tech UMI blockchain. The UMI OneApp DeFi platform is already in operation, and we are constantly improving it by adding various new solutions. However, every new potential user of our products visits the UMI page on CoinMarketCap and sees the alert which leads them to wrong conclusions. At the same time, many crypto assets present on CoinMarketCap have no real product or do not develop, but, for some reason, they do not have any alerts on their pages.

Despite our efforts and development, we are still a small crypto project by the standards of the crypto industry, so we have failed to reach the CoinMarketCap management team. We have repeatedly asked the CoinMarketCap representatives to remove the alert, but were ignored. A while ago, we published an open appeal to the service where we did a detailed analysis of the issue and once again urged the CoinMarketCap management team to remove false information. Major crypto media also noticed the problem:

In addition to cryptocurrency media, many users wrote about this problem both on the UMI page on CoinMarketCap, and in the social media accounts of CoinMarketCap, Binance and Changpen Zhao with the #SAVEUMI hashtag and a call to remove the unfair alert. 

However, even this could not make CoinMarketCap fully consider the situation — all we received was a standard response that our request was under consideration. 

By its actions, CoinMarketCap is destroying the true spirit of the crypto industry — decentralization and freedom. CoinMarketCap is a centralized service owned by the Binance cryptocurrency exchange. Many users and companies increasingly conclude that the service is abusing its dominant position on the market and is competing unfairly. The algorithms for adding various alerts to cryptocurrency pages are unclear and non-transparent, and there are simply no tools to question such decisions. The same applies to the various difficulties with updating and adding statistics on the aggregator. 

Because of this, we and many other market players are treated unfairly and face big problems because a single alert or incorrect data on a major cryptomonitor page is enough to ruin the reputation of any project. From a small island of independence, Binance has turned into a global corporation like Facebook, Google or Amazon, that increasingly ignores its users for the sake of personal interests or does not want / cannot see them. 

On the web, we and our users have repeatedly seen information about other crypto projects failing to receive a proper answer after various problems. We are tired of knocking on closed doors and therefore decided to create a petition to grab maximum attention to the current situation of all true crypto enthusiasts fighting for justice, transparency and freedom. We urge everyone to unite in order to jointly influence CoinMarketCap and make its management team to reconsider its policy.

Once again, we urge CoinMarketCap to hear us and all other crypto users, sort out all the problems, and remove the unjustified alert from the UMI page. We are always open to dialogue and ready to fight for justice, our reputation and fair attitude to other crypto projects that, like us, suffer from non-transparency and slow responses. 

We ask the entire crypto community not to remain indifferent and sign this petition in order to join forces in the fight against truly monopolistic actions on the market. Alas, CoinMarketCap is increasingly using its dominant position and thereby harming the entire industry. Otherwise, any crypto project may find itself in our shoes tomorrow without any possibility to make a difference. Based on the current trend, the number of such projects is growing by the day. We demand that the CoinMarketCap team restore justice as soon as possible and remove the unjustified alert from the UMI page. Sincerely, UMI Team!
