Governor Inslee, rescind Directive  22-13.

The “Permanent Vaccine Mandate” (Directive 22-13) for ALL state employees is overreaching and unnecessary.  All signs point to the COVID virus lessening in severity(Wayne State University, WHO).  Even though we had the highest daily infections in January, the death rate was lower than during the delta surge (www.worldmeters.info) The first round of vaccine was effective in keeping people safe, but CDC data shows that unless you’re over 50 boosters are minimally effective and only mildly effective for those under 65.(nytimes.com/2022/02/04; CDC.gov vaccine data)   Most people retire at 65 making this mandate too controlling and an abuse of power.

The State is already struggling to maintain safe efficient service.  The first mandate was crippling and we are still recovering.  If this mandate stands, the services we rely on will suffer.

Please allow the dedicated civil servants of the great State of Washington to make their own personal medical decisions.
