Мы, русскоязычные поклонники киберспорта из Азербайджана, Армении, Беларуси, Израиля, Казахстана, Кыргызстана, Латвии, Молдовы, России, Таджикистана, Узбекистана, Украины, Эстонии и многих других стран, где для значительной части граждан русский язык является родным, выражаем глубокую озабоченность по поводу ситуации в мировом киберспорте.

Русский язык — основной для нас язык смотрения киберспортивных соревнований. И, к огромному нашему сожалению, смотреть большинство русскоязычных трансляций сегодня невозможно из-за непрекращающейся русофобии комментаторов как в эфире, так и за его пределами. Мы понимаем те объективные причины, которые привели к подобному эмоциональному накалу, однако не считаем для себя возможным слушать киберспортивное комментирование со стороны людей, которые открыто подталкивают свою аудиторию к убийствам всех русских и их детей.

Мы призываем крупнейших игровых издателей и турнирных операторов не допускать передачи медиаправ на свои соревнования студиям комментирования, чьи руководители, сотрудники и медийные персоны занимаются пропагандой насилия. Мы также считаем, что киберспортивным талантам, публично заявляющим о ненависти к русским, нет места на международных турнирах — The International, чемпионатах мира, мейджорах, профессиональных лигах.

Русский язык является вторым по популярности языком в киберспортивном сегменте Twitch после английского. На The International 10 русскоязычную трансляцию смотрели 40% от всех зрителей на Twitch — больше, чем на английском. Dota 2 и Counter-Strike: Global Offensive являются популярнейшими играми в наших странах, однако мы с удовольствием смотрим турниры по Valorant, Fortnite, Rainbow Six, Rocket League, Quake Champions, League of Legends, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, PUBG, Free Fire, StarCraft 2, Overwatch и многим другим киберспортивным играм. Будет невероятно жаль лишиться просмотра этих турниров.

Однако так и произойдёт, если в команде освещения турниров продолжат появляться люди, чья ненависть выливается в призывы к смерти детей:

Мы искренне призываем этих людей одуматься, ведь угрозы невинным людям по национальному признаку способствуют лишь круговороту ненависти в сообществе. 

Киберспорт — самый мирный, объединяющий и инклюзивный спорт в мире. Здесь нет места для ненависти и агрессии. И только от нас зависит, сохранится ли этот хрупкий виртуальный мир — или будет уничтожен. 

Stop hatred and calls to kill children in esports!

To: Valve, Riot Games, Epic Games, Ubisoft, Tencent, Krafton, Garena, Blizzard, Moonton, ESL, PGL, Epic Esports Events, Beyond the Summit, OGA, ONE Esports.

We, Russian-speaking esports fans from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Israel, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Estonia and many other countries where Russian is a native language for a significant part of the citizens, express deep concern about about the situation in the esports.

Russian is the main language for us to watch esports competitions. And, to our great regret, today it is impossible to watch the majority of Russian-language broadcasts due to the ongoing Russophobia of commentators both on and off the air. We understand the objective reasons that led to such emotional intensity, but we do not consider it possible for ourselves to listen to esports commentary from people who openly push their audience to kill all Russians and their children.

We call on the major game publishers and tournament operators to prevent the transfer of media rights to their competitions to commentary studios whose managers, employees and media personalities promote violence. We also believe that esports talents who publicly declare their hatred for Russians have no place in international tournaments — The International, world championships, majors, professional leagues.

Russian is the second most popular language in the Twitch esports segment after English. At The International 10, the Russian-language broadcast was watched by 40% of all viewers on Twitch — more than in English. Dota 2 and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive are the most popular games in our countries, but we enjoy watching Valorant, Fortnite, Rainbow Six, Rocket League, Quake Champions, League of Legends, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, PUBG, Free Fire tournaments , StarCraft 2, Overwatch and many other esports games. It would be a shame not to watch these tournaments.

However, this will happen if people whose hatred translates into calls for the death of children continue to appear in the tournament cast team:

Esports is the most peaceful, unifying and inclusive sport in the world. There is no place for hatred and aggression. And it depends only on us whether this fragile virtual world will survive or be destroyed.
