From his early 70's beginnings as lead singer of the highly-influential Montrose, to his mid-70's/early 80's breakout solo career, to his highly successful solo artist reincarnation after fronting the mighty Van Halen for over a decade, Sammy Hagar has consistently- and constantly-  delivered high energy performances and memorable hits like “Rock Candy”, "I Can't Drive 55", “Heavy Metal” “There’s Only One Way to Rock”, "Your Love Is Driving Me Crazy" and “Mas Tequila”, while also creating powerful supergroups along the way!

Despite being inducted into the RRHOF as part of Van Halen in 2007, Hagar's significant contributions to rock and roll as a solo artist remain overlooked by this prestigious institution.
