We, the concerned parents and students of St. Paul's School in Bald Hills, are deeply disturbed by the sudden dismissal of Dr. Paul Browning from his position as headmaster. Dr. Browning has been the cornerstone of our educational community, leading with vision, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.

Despite an independent reviewer recommending his contract be renewed for 5 years, the Anglican Schools Commission chose to dissolve the School Board and remove Dr Browning due to a disagreement over the intended way to financially support reimbursement to past sexual abuse victims. Dr Browning has worked tirelessly and been a strong advocate for reconciliation and recognition of the abuse victims.

His sudden departure has left a void that cannot be easily filled, and we firmly believe that his removal poses a significant threat to the future of our beloved school. Dr. Browning's leadership has not only enriched our academic experience but has also fostered a culture of inclusivity, innovation, and growth that has touched every aspect of our lives within the school community.

We are united in our conviction that the decision to remove Dr. Browning was made without transparency or adequate explanation, and it has caused profound distress and uncertainty among students, parents, and staff alike. We cannot accept the status quo and demand answers regarding the circumstances that led to this abrupt decision.

In light of these concerns, we are actively petitioning for change. We firmly believe that the best course of action is to reinstate Dr. Paul Browning as the headmaster of St. Paul's School. We call upon the school administration to engage in an open and constructive dialogue with the parent and student body, allowing us to express our concerns and work together toward a resolution that preserves the legacy of excellence Dr. Browning has established.
