My son was only 6 years old when he suffered sexual abuse by someone who was a convicted paedophile , Andrew Snook. 
Because Andrew’s  convictions was historic he wasn’t on the sex offender register therefore he was able to hide from he’s past which enabled him to go on and sexually abuse he’s latest victim my son!

Many children has been affected and left traumatised by this loophole in the system and many more will fall victim if these historic paedophiles are not on the radar and on the sex offender register.

 Only because some of the paedophiles convictions are historic, it doesn’t mean they are less dangerous then a  paedophile on the sex offender register because of the length of time since their previous convictions!

More so, this make them more dangerous because there is nothing linking them to being a danger to children, it allows them to slip through the net, it allows them to go of the radar, it allows them to go un noticed and it allows them to strike again. 

This needs to change, too many children are getting abused and left traumatised due to this loophole in the system! 
Why should our children have no security, no protection against these historic predators? 

why should our children get less protection then these predators who does the horrific crimes and leave our children traumatised? 

Our children are the ones who need protecting from these vile people, our children are the innocent ones and has the right to be safe without any worries of being abused! 

we cannot fully stop these predators but let’s make it harder for them to be able to hurt our children! 

PUT EVERY KNOWN SEX OFFENDER ON THE SEX OFFENDER REGISTER, HISTORIC OR NOT!
