The current situation of Gran Turismo 7 is frustrating the players and cannot anymore continue.

The game was critically acclaimed a few days before by the large majority of the press, then the game was officially released on March 4th, 2022 for the players.

Even if the initial content was poor (Compared to previous opuses) the overall feedback was pretty good and players were willing to give GT7 his chance (Only 39 main missions, 60 secondary ones - Achievable in 15-25 hours, but No endurance races, limited championships, most powerful cars useless due to lack of associated competitions, only 2 of the 5 driving licences are useful - still due to lack of championships).

But the major weaknesses of the game were showed up March, 17th 2022 during the maintenance for deployment of update 1.08 :

• It was impossible to play - During 30 hours - due to the only-online politic applied by Polyphony Digitals 
• Credit rewards have been drastically reduced, forcing players to play the same race during tens of hours OR - which seems to be the willingness of Polyphony Digitals - use microtransactions

The studio tried to apologies via Kazunori Yamauchi with a tactless post, saying « if possible we would like to try to avoid a situation where a player must mechanically keep replaying certain events over and over again » which does not reflect the current politic applied as credits earning is ridiculous, as an example on March 20th the game introduced the legendary car McLaren F1 ’94 with a value of 18.5 Millions, to get this amount of credits even by doing the most efficient credits/hours race the players should repeat the same race during 20 hours - Only for one car (Or buying it 185$ with microtransactions - Only for one car). This example is a clear demonstration that Polyphony Digitals wants the players to use microtransactions as much as possible while they already paid for a complete game and not a free-to-play.

As a consequence of players’ frustration and as the possibilities to be heard are limited a review bombing on Metacritic platform is currently occurring, the game which was previously noted 7-8 by the users is in a spiralling drop with a current rate of 2.3 on March 20th.

This petition is to claim two major changes which should occur as quickly as possible in Gran Turismo 7 :

1. An economy system allowing players to earn credits faster / An economy system not highly encouraging microtransactions
2. The possibility to play off-line
