24th June Update:

@ElevenSY11 has been identified. It turns out he is merely 15 years old; this is not the first time he commit killing. Despite him killing a kitten with extrem brutality (vivisection followed with concentrated sulfuric acid which is suppose to be a prohibited item), the local police didn't do the right thing - at least investigate how a 15-year-old can obtain a highly dangerous chemical substence - they only gave him a verbal warning and let him off the hook. Some police just have to prove their incompetency. This certainly makes the cat torturing group very proud - see, no consequence for torturing cats; now all animal lovers should just shut our damn mouth and let them celebrate? 

I hate to point out the obvious here - the cultural context, the ignorance of animal welfare among the general public, is exactly why such group has thrived so well in this nation. Why didn’t the police take the correct procedures ? - Because the victim is a cat. Animals to a lot of people are not living beings but merely another object, like a pan, pot, trash can, something they treat with neglection. A large number of street animals in cities are abandoned by their privous owners; not all pets are micro-chipped and the regulations of prohibiting people abandon animals are also not in place, it is hard to trace back to whoever should be responsible.

Subsequently, the greedy see the opportunity to exploit street animals to make money - they capture street dogs and cats in large quantities and send them to slaughterhouses, to restaurants, to tanneries. Animals are captured via tools, poisons, traps, you name it. There is a documentory on this subject filmed in 2007 by the team of famous Chinese - born artist Ai Wei Wei called <San Hua>. In coincidence, BBC Eye published an article about a group profiting from tortouring monkeys - <Global network of sadistic monkey torture exposed by BBC> (https://www.bbc.com/news/world-65951188  After reading this article, I was stunnded by the similarities between the two groups - the only difference is the victim. Is animal torturing become a new trend of international crime including this cat torture group?

Our frontline volunteers' daily involves more than exposing animal brutality on internet. This week, two groups of volunteers have saved in total 148 cats from becoming a meal on the table. The volunteers were forced to pay for the cats by a collective restaurants owners ; they paid, whatever those human scums asked for, just to be able to save those cats. They rented a place to shelter those cats and signed for a 1-year lease. Some cats have sadly passed away before the volunteers could even reach them due to the appauling conditions being all jammed in little rusty cages for long hours. A lot of the cats are in critical conditions; almost all of them needs treatments and desex. Such heart-breaking situations are happenning everyday. 

I really appreciate everyone who has paid to promote this petition. However, money can be better used if it aids to save actual lives. Can I please suggest, other than spending on this petition, please consider making a donation to help volunteers covering the medical bills, shelter rent, cat food and suppliers for saving those cats. A lot of the cats still require on going treatment. Only 10% who see this petition will sign, but the money donated here will be 100% used directly on saving lives. She has been posting videos of volunteers saving cats' lives and protesting. Her account has been deactivated and is currently going through appeal, we suspect the cat torturing group reported her account multiple times. In person she has donated fare a bit of money. I will ask her to set up an ins account solely to state the expenses. I personally have and will continuously donate as well not only for this group of cats, but also for all TNR course in long run.  

15th June Update:

A new announcement from a cat torturer name @ElevenSY11 on Telegram. He claims that he has ‘adopted’ a ginger kitten and is going to livestream vivisection at 7pm (Beijing Time) in a Telegram group. Only audience who is willing to pay to watch/select torture methods will be invited. He took photo of the really scared kitten (looks like has been beaten up) and surgical knives. Volunteers are trying to locate this psycho, but everyone agrees the hope of saving the kitten is really slim.     It’s confirmed the kitten has passed away.

A Chinese Video Blogger’s cat torture behaviour was busted and went viral. He is responsible for the infamous ‘cat blender video’ on TikTok. He was arrested for merely 7 days (28.Apr. - 4. May)then released. A lot of you would think this is extreme but perhaps a rare case. But what if I tell you this is only the tip of an iceberg?

This blogger is an active member of a highly organized animal abuse group which profits from selling videos containing highly graphic content of killing cats. They have conducted countless killings to sell the recordings for as cheap as 30G for less than 2 American Dollar. Each cat would have suffered on average for 2 -3 days before eventually die in the most miserable way. You could imaging how many innocent life has fallen and yet those demons are still walking among us.

People of his kind are now threatening to commit even more detrimental killing to ‘avenge him’, a lot of animals’ life are at stake. They also start to release videos outside of China via social media platforms, to make a statement.

This is no doubt a dark moment of humanity in our country. Although Chinese animal activists strive to bring down the evil, due to the absence of anti-animal cruelty legislation in China, they will not be charged for what they did. They claim their actions are ‘legal’ and openly mock at people who condemn their actions. We need your voice to know the good is greater than the evil, and eventually we will bring justice to the innocent souls, no matter how long it takes. This will be a long process, as the proposals for Anti-animal-abuse- law have all been rejected in the past decade.  Please take a minute to sign and share with your friends who cares about animal welfare.
