Street Fighter is one of the most iconic fighting game franchises of all time, and it’s cast of World Warriors are a huge reason behind its success. The women that comprise a good chunk of the aforementioned cast are independent, strong, and confident, and that should be shown in their character design. 

These women are World Warriors, fighters, weight lifters, etc. It would only make sense that these women have some visible muscle, or more defined lean bodies. In the past Street Fighter titles, women, such as Chun Li and Cammy, have shown visible muscle and great size. However, in Street Fighter 6, it almost appears that Capcom has downsized the muscle size and definition of their female fighters. 

In the heavily stylized world of Street Fighter, it doesn’t make sense that the men continue to be these hulking bodybuilders, while some of the women, who have done more strenuous tasks and feats of strength, show less muscle mass and definition than what they could possibly achieve. 

Rather than being slim figures, or undefined beyond specific features (I.e. Chun-Li’s thighs compared to her upper body), these women should be depicted as what they are: strong. They should be designed as the ultimate humans, peak muscularity, definition, and strength, just as the men are allowed to be. 

Please consider creating more muscular designs for the women, or at-least alternate costumes that we are allowed to access. Thank you for your time and consideration.
