Dearest friends and residents of Apache County,

Our collective was recently notified of the intention to create and enforce regulations on RV usage and building permits in off-grid areas of Apache County. Considering that many people who live off-grid, choose to live an alternative lifestyle in creative housing structures, this will significantly decrease the freedom of residents to live in housing of their choosing on their own properties. 

Although many of the suggestions appear to address concerns about health, safety, and sanitation, what it may actually do is limit the ability of individuals to afford the permitting and other requirements necessary to live on their properties, which can lead to their displacement. 

We feel that this would be a possible injustice to these property owners who already work so hard and adapt their lives to live in the area.
