We need to have Cinemark restore the former glory of this IMAX theater that used to project films in their original IMAX 15/70 mm format. They have the biggest screen in the correct proper IMAX aspect ratio that could serve the whole entire Chicagoland area and make it the epicenter of IMAX for millions of citizens in this area. The Indianapolis IMAX is not an option for many people as traveling to and from the theater could turn into a 9 or 10 hour day so this IMAX theater in the Western Chicago suburbs is the perfect location to bring back IMAX film And IMAX laser to millions of people that cherish this type of moviegoing experience. Please do the right thing and at minimum upgrade the Cinemark seven bridges to IMAX dual laser but please also consider bringing back IMAX 15/70 film. Hundreds of thousands of dollars if not millions of dollars were left on the table by this theater by not featuring interstellar during its 10th anniversary showings. This theater is leaving money on the table when it should be profiting and benefiting the Cinemark as a company & the patrons of this community.
As a passionate supporter of the cinematic experience, I strongly urge the upgrade of IMAX projectors to 15/70mm film. The unparalleled clarity, depth, and immersive quality of this format truly elevate the movie-watching experience to new heights. With this upgrade, audiences can fully appreciate the artistry of filmmakers who shoot in this format, allowing us to experience films as they were intended, with every breathtaking detail. Let’s bring back the magic of true IMAX!
