Why this petition matters

Started by Tom Culmo

Miami-Dade is facing a road safety crisis, and urgent action is needed to protect the lives of cyclists and motorists. Potholes, cracks, and uneven road surfaces are posing significant risks, leading to accidents and injuries.

In response to this pressing issue, Tom Culmo, a trial lawyer and lifelong cyclist, has launched an initiative requesting immediate road repairs along the popular 16-mile cycling route between Black Point Park & Marina and the Waste Management - Delta Recycling in Homestead, Florida.

Tom has personally written letters to the County and Mayor, bringing attention to the road repair needs and providing a google map link with the exact coordinates and recent photographs of the 8 sections of damaged roads.

This petition is a call to action, urging the County and Mayor to collaborate with our efforts and prioritize immediate road repairs to ensure the safety of cyclists and motorists.

By signing this petition, you join the movement to create safer roads for everyone in Miami-Dade County. Let's unite to prevent accidents and safeguard the well-being of our community. Your support can make a life-saving difference.
