In the recent move from an automotive giant like Kia, who hiked the prices of their model Carens across all variants drastically by around 60,000. Especially for the Prestige Variant, we have to pay an hefty amount of 1.3 lakhs more on the on-road price which is not acceptable and it will be a hefty load for the middle class people who have booked it. And this unethical move to hike the prices in just 45 days since it's launch (15th Feb) is condemnable. Every Customer who have booked the car (especially Premium & Prestige variants) before the hike will have to pay the latest hiked price and there are hardly very few cars delivered for these 2 particular variants from the Company/Dealer.

My request to the Consumer Protection board to bring strict and stringent rules against these kind of companies by implementing:

1. Price protection for every vehicle we book, the customer should pay only the price which was mentioned during the booking.

2. Company/Dealer should deliver the vehicle within the mentioned waiting period.

3. Very importantly the customer should get all the live information on the Production, Allocation and Transit information of his/her booked vehicle.

If the Company fails in any one of the above cases, they should payback the booking amount with an hefty interest.

I request everyone to sign this petition and stop this unethical hikes in prices and using innocent people money for their advertising gimmicks.
