- Although we've given Ukraine 80km Range HIMARs, they are still unable to reach the entirety of their country, in order to push out Russian Military within their borders. Providing Ukraine with longer range ATACMs missiles (300km+ range) would enable Ukraine to reach Russian Military bases in Luhansk and Crimea, and end the war sooner.
- In particular, Russia Military uses the Sevastopol port in Crimea to dock their submarines and navy ships and reload them with Cruise Missiles. The cruise missile attacks from the Black Sea incessantly target Ukrainian civilians in Odessa, Mykolaiv, and Western Ukraine.
- Stopping these Russian military cruise missiles at their source - the Russian naval base in Sevastopol, is the only feasible way to prevent civilian deaths. If Ukraine had the ATACMs, it could target the Sevastopol port that's 290km away from Odessa Coast, permanently stop cruise missile attacks from the Black Sea and save civilian lives.
- Even more mind-boggling, as recently as 2011, under the reign of pro-Russian Ukrainian president Yanukovych, the US State department 'assisted' Ukraine in dismantling 185 of its SCUD missiles. The US government helped disarm Ukraine, and now Ukraine lacks the intermediate missiles it would need to defend itself.
- Furthermore, providing ATACMs to Ukraine will act as a deterrent against Russian military imperialist aggression, ensuring future safety of Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, and Poland.
