On behalf of the People of African Descent and our allies, we appeal to you, Your Excellencies, to act immediately and allow the black and brown students in Ukraine access to safe passage and evacuation to Poland, neighbouring European Union countries and Switzerland on transit to their home countries.

We also call on the African governments to come together and formulate entrance-transit deals that are timely achievable for the students with the European Union and Switzerland.
