Petition to All People, Governments of the World, the UN

Petition to change the ‘economic monopoly’, within nations, and globally, to an open economic model, in which more than one economic system could coexist, where every citizen would have the ability and right to choose the system they want to live and strive in.

A moneyless, satisfaction-based system, driven by self-governed individuals as the alternative to the current money-based economy, in a dual economic system model, has been suggested as a treatment and cure to all the ills of the single economic system model, or economic monopoly, we all live in.

The premise and problem: The predominant socio-economic systems in nations across the world are capitalist democracies, or authoritarian with the misnomer of socialist or communist, or autocratic extremist, all within a money-based economy. In such an economic monopoly, citizens are not free to choose to live in any other economic system if they do not agree with the money-based system they were born into. Such freedom, if at all, can only be traded for by first excelling in the current monopolistic system. Achieving the means to do so though is, as we know, impossible for almost all of us, as only less than 1% ever do. So, this is not a system for everyone, not even for the majority. And with the way we are impacting all life because of it, it seems it will become the system of our decline as well.

A single economic system model, or economic monopoly, is all we have now and we (continue to) prepare our own gloomy future within it. We may be better off than our pasts, but why use the past and not the future as a yardstick?

In this economic monopoly, we are slaves, without choice. This slavery ensures disparity, strife and struggle for the many, and luxury and power in the hands of the few. In the economic monopoly, our humanity is being reduced to selfishness and hate. It has corrupted, and causes suffering.

An alternative system where we are rewarded, or penalized, based on our impact on ourselves, each other, and our environment, rather than on our selfish and violent pursuit of profit and power, would be a welcome playing field for all, and would force the existing system to adapt to the new, healthy competition, complementing it along the way.

The suggested alternative and solution: There are more people beginning to realize our predicament of slavery. There are more ideas, systems, and models being discussed more freely and intelligently. The majority of people who most need this shift though, are too occupied in their current way - they cannot participate. It is difficult for the unfree to rise up. Born into slavery, most of us cannot even fathom freedom, why would we want to struggle for something we’ve never had or known?

A learning consultant from Pune, Karanbir Singh, has modelled and is suggesting a dual economic model – the existing money-based economic system, and a complementary alternative based on self-governance, a satisfaction-based economic model (beyond basic needs), trust established through intrinsic values, the objective to address pertinent global, local, and personal issues, coined – Satisfaction Economy. The driving motivation in this satisfaction-based economic model is altruistic, from and towards compassion and wisdom.

The 4 pillars of Satisfaction Economy

How will this be implemented and made to work?

Introducing Satisfaction Economy, as an alternative system in a dual economic system model, as an option in nations or globally and its subsequent functioning will be based on its acceptance and participation garnered. If a people and government accept it, then depending on their levels of acceptance, collaboration can be better and coordination more efficient. This petition is one step towards getting each one of us to be included and participate.

There is a website in the making which is being designed to be informative and support transparency effectively. Appeals to United Nations Human Rights Council and National Human Rights Commission India, were sent on October 13, 2022. A support network and structure is being established. More hands are being raised. Raise yours here and now.
