We feel that the Wildlife Task Force is not supporting the interest of the public. We as hunters have a say in the way that the Game and Fish and other government authorities operate. There have been several subjects brought up by the Wild Life Task Force that have been opposed by the public and are still being brought to the legislators. The changes that they want to bring would negatively impact both residents and non-residents in Wyoming. As a western hunter who has hunted other states, I have seen the negative impacts from systems that are in place in neighboring states. The theory works, but when put into action it has failed - multiple times. We feel the best thing to do is to abolish the Wild Life Task Force, and allow the Game and Fish to manage wildlife and conservation. We feel they do not keep the public's best interest in mind and are more geared towards helping outfitters and land owners put more money in their pocket. Outfitters are a small number compared to the hunting public; they should not receive any special rights or permits. Everyone who has signed has agreed that the Task Force should come to an end.
