I just moved to Las Vegas and was previously diagnosed with several mental health issues and prescribed 5 medications (Zyprexa, Paxil, Adderall, Abilify, and Topamax), by Dr.Rama Prayaga, a regimen that has kept me from suicide attempts and/or criminal activity, therefore I found that cocktail to be a good fit for me, and I desired to remain on the same medicines with my new provider. I made an appointment with Changing Minds Psychiatry, and was given Janelle Welch-Oliver as my provider and on our first visit, she explained that she seen on my new patient packet, that I was on the above mentioned medications and if I wanted to remain on the same ones she'd need proof that I was previously prescribed them. I told her that I would get proof from CVS that I was on them for years, and she first said that would be fine, but in the interim she would only give me my Paxil, Abilify and Topamax. I wasn't happy with this, but I figured I would acquiesce, and take my time to get Dr. Prayaga's office to send both me and her the records, which took some time, and during that wait I received a call from another individual, who she obviously had call me, stating they needed to run tests on me for ADHD and I politely declined, as I've never been diagnosed with that and wasn't interested in being assessed for it. On our next visit, before the records arrived, Janelle mentioned that she had them people to call me, something I was very upset about, you don't just give out my phone number to a third party and have them contacting me, without first consulting with me, which should actually be against HIPAA, but my main concern was getting my correct medicine, before I became psychotic or severely depressed and lapsed into making another attempt on my life. Nevertheless, during that visit I explained that I simply need my same medicine that my previous provider was giving me and did not wish for it to be tweaked in any way, as that too could leave me in a detrimental state. Well, finally the records arrive. I schedule an appointment with her, but hours before the appointment, I receive a voice mail from the office manager (Bobbi Jo), asking what I needed to see Janelle for today, if I was asking for a new provider, and I explained that I was only asking for a new provider, because my old doctor's  office kept saying they been sent the records, but Janelle was claiming not to have received them, and I felt that she was lying. But, I had the old doctor to send them to both myself and Bobbi Jo, so this way Janelle can't deny having them now, and everything should be fine. Well, I called Bobbi Jo back, regarding the strange voice mail and she stated that now Janelle is claiming the records "Aren't suffice", and I immediately let her know that I plan to reach out to an attorney, because I wholeheartedly believe that I'm being mistreated and that Janelle has been purposely depriving me of important treatment for months; putting my life in danger and management, who's privy to her acts are complicit as well, because I have informed them several times before, about her ill treatment towards me. I have provided Janelle Welch-Oliver and the office manager with the records, proving that I was getting all 5 medications, as I was asked to do, and for her to be able to still make up another excuse, and still not only be able to keep her job and license, while I suffer is not only morally and ethically wrong, but should be criminally wrong as well, because without my proper medication, there's a potential for me to ultimately hurt others or myself; my reasons for responsibly making an appointment with Changing Minds Psychiatry from the start. Please assist me with this situation and thank you.
