My town needs its own flag.  Vicksburg is located on the Mississippi River and was coined "The Key to the South" by Abraham Lincoln during the Civil War.  The brown part of the flag is the land, the muddy banks of the mighty Mississippi.  The blue represents the water of the river.  The star inside the key refers to this city being part of the United States.  

The people of Vicksburg need a flag that represents our hospitality and the vitality of the river.  Your signature will help us attract attention so we can take the next steps to put this issue on a ballot and vote for it.  We can't adopt this flag without your help.  Thank you!
