Call on Rishi Sunak "Prime Minister" to urgently act on Local Government Councils TREATMENT & NEGLECT of autistic children/young adults & their carers/families?

                                              WHAT IS NEGLECT?

Neglect is ongoing failures to meet a child/young person basic needs & is the most common form of child abuse...

PHYSICAL NEGLECT- Child/young person basic needs, food, clothing, shelter, or they aren't properly supervised or kept safe.

EDUCATIONAL NEGLECT- Not to ensure a child/young person is given an education.

EMOTIONAL NEGLECT- Child/young person doesn't get the nurture & stimulation they need- This could be through ignorance... Ignoring, humiliating, intimidating or isolating them.

MEDICAL NEGLECT- Child/young person isn't given proper health care, includes refusing or ignoring medical recommendations.   

SYSTEM-WIDE FAILURES AROUND AUTISM- CALLS FOR GOVERNMENT TO END DISCRIMINATION & NEGLECT AGAINST AUTISTIC PEOPLE? FOR ALL PUBLIC FACING STAFF TO BE GIVEN AUTISM-SPECIFIC TRAINING?

Sadly it's much worst... councils have adopted a policy of out right abusive conduct & neglect towards autistic children/young adults & their carers.

Here is our own past experience of the authorities SOCIAL CARE treatment of autistic people & their carers/families... Which consist of Neglect, Equality, Harassment, Victimization, Defamation, Maladministration, Intimidation, Cover-ups, & no accountability?

Like many UK local authorities, Kent County Council are knowingly committing multiple failures/breaches of public duty against vulnerable autistic children/young adults that even have a diagnosis of severe learning disability, severe challenging behaviour, no real sense of danger, self, or their surroundings.

My daughter's autism stems from an infection, her brain being starved of oxygen when she was born, meningitis of the brain, resulting being in hospital for around 5wks. And then after authorities monitoring my daughter's progress throughout her childhood. With a formal diagnosis of non-verbal ASD, challenging/repetitive behaviour... Severe at times, severe learning disability, ADHD, Echolalia, & no sense of danger.

But, because there is a mountain of evidence against Kent County Council, Showing multiple serious failures/breaches of public duty, dishonest conduct, coverups?- Which Includes but not limited to, being unlawfully evicted from your Council home? SEN unlawfully removing disabled complainant from education behind family's back?

Social services failures... false information placed in assessment? Social worker sat & watched video footage of antisocial behaviour by a neighbour & his family... Indecent exposure incidents but never recorded by social services in my child's assessment? 

Dover Council housing sector unlawfully evicted vulnerable autistic girl throughout COVID lockdown because family had complained to the Environmental health department about unfit conditions of temporary accommodation provided by Dover housing sector?

Then despite Government COVID guidelines back in 2020 to stay at home etc, Dover housing staff not follow Government guidelines, thought it was acceptable for a single parent, & her severely challenging autistic girl, to expect them to go & view an offer of housing & move in when most of the country was in total shut down? 

In previous social workers distorted assessment... she mentioned that due to my daughter having no sense of danger... And due to previous incidents of my daughter running off... It was important to keep all doors, windows locked at all times to ensure the safety of my autistic daughter. Even the police/Ambulance that brought her back states about putting alarms on all windows & doors also- Can I ask what changed? Is it due to the lack of training within authority around autism... authorities are more focus on coverups of all their failures...Than the welfare & safety of vulnerable autistic children/young adults?

The Ombudsman thinks it is acceptable for departments to be deleting any serious complaints/evidence put in against any of their departments or to delete any phone call evidence on a still active investigation that not even been completed?- Ombudsman written email response to these allegations was, "Well, it wasn't me that deleted the evidence". From many other concerns around the so-called Ombudsman investigation... Personally feel NOT FIT to be the local social CARE ombudsman.

The UK Government have known about this ongoing serious issue for a number of years...but, despite many families suffering the lost of a disabled family member through authorities neglect... UK Government seemingly have chosen to look the other way... While local authorities continue their unlawful neglect & treatment against extremely vulnerable autistic children/adults & their carers/families?

Autistic people & their families are really suffering, due to a lack of training & knowledge, autism-specific training by public serving staff. Which is having a detrimental impact on individuals diagnosed with autism, & their carers/families.

Misconduct of public duty seriously affects public TRUST & puts vulnerable citizens at unnecessary potential RISK.

Therefore, believe should be a overall review of SEND special educational needs/social services disability assessments? And the Government social care safeguarding measures presently in place around autism... especially in regard to autistic individuals that have no sense of danger?- Local authorities evicting severely autistic individuals that have no sense of danger is seriously shocking, go's against Government own policies on safeguarding the most vulnerable from neglect & potential harm.

WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT?- Autistic people & their families are continuously being let down by their local authority- Calls for safeguarding measures around autism to be improved, for all public serving staff to be given autism-specific training? And for the ABUSE, discrimination & neglect by local authorities & this present Government to stop.

Public sector corruption of dishonesty/neglect against the most vulnerable adds substantially to the cost of public services- leads to misallocation of public resources, weakens policymaking & implementation, puts extremely vulnerable members of the public at risk, and destroys public confidence.

Its a fact that Local authority departments can only ever be as good as the people running those departments.

Government should make a direct apology to those families that have sadly lost a family member due to untrained staff... the shocking continued ongoing neglect that has sadly resulted in so many deaths?- These families claims of authority FAILURES OF CARE... should also be investigated?- I'm quite sure if any members of the government were one of the above families...They would expect an apology & a full investigation to be carried out.

It is quite a serious matter when you have government authority departments... Councils etc neglecting their duties and going against medical professional reports.

This is why I would never trust the present UK authorities with the welfare of my severely autistic daughter. Clearly It's much easier for UK authorities to abuse these vulnerable autistic people with drugs than to give them the care, attention, & stimulation they actually need to thrive in life.

It's not just heart breaking the suffering to people & their families...

But more that it's been left to continue for years under the careful watch of this present Government... It's totally disgusting.
