A ban has been imposed on countries such as Nigeria. In a notice issued to trade partners including travel agents, authorities stating that all applications should be rejected.

"Any applications from the above-mentioned countries will be sent back or canceled." According to reports no reason has been stated.

This ban is impacting genuine law abiding people who live, work and reside in the United Kingdom (indefinite leave to remain/spousal visa for e.g) seeking to travel to the UAE for Tourism/Holidays/Business.

This ban needs to be lifted or clarified.

UK residents from Nigeria the countries where the ban has been imposed looking to travel to the UAE should be allowed the opportunity to prove their UK status and provide relevant documents proving residency so the UAE visa can be granted. Other Nationals such as Indians are able to provide 6months bank statements, payslips confirmed hotel/tourism booking etc why not us? This is an unfair human rights issue and should be addressed.
