Noise Pollution is a Silent Killer. It can induce health problems for people and wildlife both on land and in the sea. Exposure to loud noise can cause tinnitus, high blood pressure, heart disease, sleep disturbances, cognitive decline, and chronic stress. Noise Pollution has a range of mental health effects too. The brain is always monitoring sounds for signs of danger, even during sleep. As a result,  loud noise can trigger anxiety and stress. With continual exposure to noise pollution, a person’s sensitivity to stress increases. Various major sources of noise pollution in the neighborhood are karaoke singing, street party, Zumba, loud voice in a drinking session, modified muffler, loud amplifier, dogs barking. Our physical and mental health are abruptly deteriorating because of these sorts of noise that disrupting our peace. If those NOISE POLLUTERS are given the privilege to make LOUD NOISES that disturb the peace and tranquility of their neighbors. What about our rights to a peaceful environment that will safeguard our health against the harmful effect of noise pollution? We hope that HB2516 is passed to prohibit this kind of activity that produces loud and annoying noises, disrupting our peace, rest, and sleep, totally damaging our physical and mental health.
