As the headteacher of Jupiter Primary School located on Jupiter Drive, Hemel Hempstead, UK, I am deeply concerned about the safety of our pupils and community members. The number and type of vehicles using Jupiter Drive has been increasing alarmingly. This includes buses, heavy trucks and vans which pose a significant danger to children, pedestrians and cyclists who use this road daily.

Our school sits in the heart of this bustling traffic area. Sadly, we have witnessed multiple near misses that could potentially turn into serious accidents involving our students or community members. It's a distressing situation that requires immediate attention.

We are therefore calling for traffic calming measures to be implemented on Jupiter Drive as soon as possible.
