Since making the Blue Seas Protection documentary film 2 years ago (above), the FAROES ISLANDERS have continued to kill thousands of whales and dolphins. In 2021, 1440 dolphins were killed in one day purely as blood sport. These Grind Hunts still continue to this day. 

THE UK/FAROES FISH TRADE DEAL HAS GROWN IN VALUE FROM £100,000.00 per year [2019] TO A  £BILLION per year TODAY [2023]

This was confirmed on 11th July 2022, during the UK Government Parliamentary Debate 'Suspend Trade Agreement with the Faroe Islands until all whale and dolphin hunts end'. This gives the UK Government a massive leverage to end the Faroe Grind Hunts.

BLUE SEAS PROTECTION has been asking for many years:

• Why are we forced to accept trade with countries who have whale and dolphin blood running from their hands?
• SHOULD WE STOP OR SUSPEND TRADE WITH THESE COUNTRIES UNTIL ALL WHALE AND DOLPHIN KILLING STOPS?
