The nostalgia hit us elder emo's, or sceneior citizens, right in the face when we all stared at this lineup for probably over an hour when the festival was announced. Trying to figure out if it's too good to be true and how they're going to pull this off with 60+ bands in a 13 hour day. Either way, the show must go on as they added another day because of the high demand from us angsty millennials selling this out. Making it a total of 3 shows which I'm sure a 4th is to come to complete the Halloween weekend. 

However, as I dissected the entire lineup it was refreshing to see that some newer bands were added to the festival. Lil Huddy, MM@TA, The Linda Lindas, and jxdn are all the representatives of the upcoming scene artists. But I was taken back at the fact that Magnolia Park wasn't added to this lineup. If we want to talk about bands blowing up on TikTok we all know MP has showcased one of the catchiest albums of 2021. Which didn't go unnoticed with how often they went viral promoting multiple tracks off of their debut album, 'Halloween Mixtape'. And as I gave the same opinion on one of my TikTok videos others strongly disagreed with me. How though? MP gives off a nostalgic pop-punk/emo vibe that we have all been looking for. Something to directly connect us to our youth with music and they mastered it. They are the epitome of a perfect band to play this festival. So I have decided to make this petition to get them on the lineup. We need the best of the best to represent the future of this scene and there aren't enough performing at this festival, unfortunately. Not only is this petition being made to help get Magnolia Park on the festival, but to push the gatekeepers out of the way while showing how big this fan base is. 

Let’s also mention that they are going on tour with Mayday Parade and have played Emo Nite Las Vegas. As well as Unsilent Night last year, too.

The goal is to get the most viral attention to Live Nation so that we can get them on the lineup as soon as possible. Logically, there are two ways of this happening. One is to add them on the possibility of a 4th date on Sunday, October 30th when pre-sales sell out for the 29th. While the other is having them being the first to replace a band that drops off the bill. As long as we keep up the hype, anything is possible.
