Removing replays threatens to undermine not only the tradition and integrity of this historic tournament but also pose significant challenges for smaller clubs who progress in the competition.

The FA Cup has always been an opportunity for lower league teams to dream of pulling that big one out of the hat, providing them with a chance to compete against top-tier clubs on an equal footing. It also provides the opportunity of raising much needed funds should any club force a replay.

This petition aims at preserving what makes the FA Cup so unique - its unpredictability, its romance, irrespective of their financial prowess or stature in the game.
