The AFLW has just released its fixture for s8.

Numerous Friday night games have been scheduled for 5pm. This gives no time for the average worker to attend, or even watch on TV. This means the league has no chance of thriving.

To grow the game, these games need to start at least at 630.

Do the right thing AFL/AFLW. Allow the players the chance to play in front of the largest crowds possible, and give fans the chance to attend. All you are doing by starting them so early is making sure the game is hamstrung, or is that what you want? Make sure as little crowds as possible so you can justify not expanding the season?
