Every day hundreds of monkeys are being tortured and abused to produce videos and post them to YouTube. Most of these channels are monetized (receiving Ad revenue), meaning they are making a profit by abusing the animals. Monkeys are not toys.

Baby monkeys are taken from their mothers within only a couple of hours after birth and subject to all kinds of abuse. More details can be seen on the website https://www.stopmonkeyabuse.org . Please help me raise awareness on this situation.

Artificial intelligence and computer vision have advanced enough to be able to detect and remove such content automatically, and in fact it is currently done for other trivial things such as saying the F-word or having a piece of paper with the word pandemic in it. By removing their platform (YouTube channel), we remove the abuser's motivation (profit), hence helping to save the lives of these animals.

If we can convince YouTube to implement these AI rules, effectively banning this type of content; we would have taken a big step in the right direction.
