Haitians have gone through crisis after crisis in the past centuries. A lot of these crises were because of countries that control the political narratives in Haiti like the United States, France, Canada and more. We have seen how Syrian refugees, Afghan refugees, Cuban refugees have been treated when they get here, but even though Haitians have suffered so many crises this year alone (from 2 earthquakes, hurricane, assassination of their president and more) we can see how fast this government is able to deport them back to an unstable countries compared to how other asylum seekers are being treated. 

We are not asking for special treatment for these Haitians. We just want them to be treated like other asylum seekers from countries that are dealing with major human rights crises.
