Why this petition matters

Started by Nika Dehghan

Accessibility for The University of Brighton students with disabilities is not up to the standard it should be. The university needs to make sure all buildings are wheelchair accessible and that resources are available to students who may at times not be able to go to lectures, seminars and go onto campus. At the moment, disabled students at the university are not able to access the campus fully, which can lead to a plethora of issues. Fully working automatic door openers, ramps where necessary, Lecture Capture to make sure all resources are accessible, doors, lifts and corridors that are wheelchairs accessible are just the beginning of changes that are needed. Sign this petition to bring these issues to the attention of The University of Brighton and to lead to necessary changes being made!
