The Tale of African and European Refugees in 2022:

Tell the UN to investigate the bombing of a migrant detention center in Yemen and provide humanitarian aid.

On March 7, 2021 a detention facility in Sana’a, Yemen, housing nearly 900 Ethiopian migrants, the majority of whom are Oromo, was set ablaze by Houthi authorities. More than 400 people were burned alive. Yet, this horrific event received very little international attention, and one year later survivors continue to battle debilitating, third degree burns with inadequate medical attention - their plight forgotten to the world. Help us to get justice for the victims of this horrific crime and demand that the UN investigates this atrocity.

No human life is disposable. Migrants and refugees deserve justice. Don’t let the world turn a blind eye to such crimes - sign our petition today and join us in our fight for justice, especially as the international community joins hands to do everything to respond to the war in Ukraine, including by resettling over one million refugees.  Help us call out the double standard of the international community while urging them to do more for these survivors of the Houthi bombing in Yemen.
