BRAW support for the Sony FX3 / A7S III!

I think that the Sony FX3 / A7S III would be a perfect camera if it had BRAW support. BRAW is the Blackmagic RAW format, which is optimised for being extremely fast and cinematic quality. Allowing you to edit high quality and high-res footage smoothly even on a M1 based MacBook Air and Pro.

This could be supported via the Blackmagic Video Assist 1 Screen & recorder.
Even if the optimal solution would be to have the cameras support recording this internally. However it is unclear how powerful the in-camera hardware is and if it can be reprogrammed to support this.

I've spoken with Blackmagic about this and they are open to working with Sony to support the FX3 and A7S III cameras to get BRAW recording in their Video assist hardware (just like they support Nikon Z6/Z7 I & II, Sigma fp, Canon c300 mk II, Panasonic EVA1).

I hope that there are more users that love the power of grading and editing in DaVinci Resolve, who would want to gain access to the full potential of these two cameras. Being able to white balance, set ISO, do higher quality strong grading in post.
