NetherRealm Studios should celebrate its playerbase for the 30th anniversary of Mortal Kombat by making exclusive rewards available again.

Mortal Kombat 11 has a problem with it's ability to make gameplay feel rewarding for the average gamer.  This is because many skins, gears and even announcer voices are locked behind time-limited in-game purchases or pre-order events.  These rewards will not return according to the NRS microtransaction schedule for the in-game "Premium Shop".

These rewards include : 

• Gold Demon Scorpion (2019 Kollector's Edition skins & gears)
• Kold War Skarlet (EU pre-order skins & gears)
• Eternal Klash Skin Pack (MK9 Scorpion, MK Deception Sub-Zero and Klassic Frost Aftermath pre-order skins & gears)
• Avalanche Sub-Zero (Aftermath Kollector’s Edition skins & gears)
• Robocop Announcer Voice (featuring Peter Weller)
• Alternate versions of the Time Warriors Skin Pack
  • Liu Kang : Dragon Book, Race Condition, Short Circuit and Lexicon skins
  • Noob Saibot : Blockchain and Hidden Servicer skins
  • Skarlet : X Factor, Steady Pulse, Thrombosis and Open Vein skins
• MK2 Klassic Mileena Second to None and Sister Princess skins (“baby pink MK2 Mileena”)

These are arguably the most desirable cosmetics in the game when compared to the base game cosmetics.  As a result, many Mortal Kombat 11 fans have been extorted by online resellers to overpay for cosmetics that other players received for free.  For some of these rewards, online resellers are not even an option.  All of the design resources NRS devoted to making these cosmetics desirable has been wasted if very few players can obtain and enjoy these rewards. 

If these exclusive rewards were put back into the game (either as microtransaction purchases or free DLC), this would go a long way with satisfying the playerbase for the 30th anniversary of the franchise :)
