The owners of Repton manor have commissioned a report which says the large copper beach tree next to Repton manor needs to be removed.

Mature trees offer biodiversity and enhance the street scene in a way that young replacement trees will not do for many years. 

The signatories of this petition want all alternative options to be ruled out before this tree is removed. A single report commissioned in 2018 is not good enough to condemn this healthy tree. 

This tree is subject to a Tree preservation order which should be enough to guarantee its survival.
