A group of local residents are concerned about a rezoning of 3 lots to allow for higher density development (up to 4 stories). 

150st and 90ave. Jasper Park. 

This is a corner lot that backs onto existing apartments. It is a short walk to buses, multiple retailers (149st, 87ave, 156st) and nearby a future West Valley LRT Stop. 

Jasper Park is a mature neighbourhood that will benefit from redevelopments that encourage walkability, local stores, diverse housing types, and new housing stock for younger residents. 

Unfortunately, many current residents believe the neighbourhood should not change and that density over 2 stories is "out of character". Even though the existing homes are in poor shape and many others are derelict and poorly kept. New projects are key to revitalizing the area and making it attractive. NIMBYs cannot keep fighting redevlopments that align with our city plan and they can't be gate keepers for younger people wanting to live in mature areas. 

Please sign this petition to show support for redevelopment and rezonings in mature areas. This specific rezoning is key to saying "enough" to the constant opposition to new projects.
