For the past few years, the Mondo and Mattel Masters of the Universe 1/6 scale line of collectible action figures has quickly become one of the most popular and sought-after modern toy lines. This line includes a core line of figures as well as limited edition "Mondo Exclusives." This may not sound like a new problem but for many serious collectors the small production runs, inconvenient release dates and times, and delayed email notifications of these figures have proven very challenging for buyers.

Popularity and demand have increased for this line, but the problems noted above still exist. While there are people out there who purposefully buy these figures to resell them on auction sites for double or triple the price, most just want to have these cool figures in their collections to display, admire, and show off to their friends. Scalpers and bots are not going away but if Mondo would increase their production units of these figures to meet the demand of their fans, they could easily make collectors happy as well as increase their profits. It's a win-win for collectors and Mondo.
