This game and its predecessor have garnered a dedicated following over the years, and we believe it deserves to be enjoyed by a broader (and new) audience. We respectfully request that Star Ocean: Blue Sphere be officially remade and ported to Western audiences in the same vein as Star Ocean the Second Story R.

Star Ocean: Blue Sphere, originally released only in Japan and developed by tri-Ace, holds a special place in the hearts of fans who have had the opportunity to experience it. It is a unique entry in the Star Ocean franchise and is cherished for its compelling storyline and memorable characters.

Bringing Star Ocean: Blue Sphere to Western audiences would satisfy the existing fanbase and introduce a new generation of players to the next chapter for the lovable cast, especially considering the enthusiasm for Star Ocean the Second Story R.

In a recent interview, Star Ocean 2R director and producer Yuichiro Kitao stated that if players want a sequel to Star Ocean 2, they need to make their voices heard.

Azario Lopez: "Are there any plans to also bring Star Ocean Blue Sphere west? In this series, this game acted as a sequel to Star Ocean 2 but was never localized."

Yuichiro Kitao: "...what I want to tell the players is that if they enjoy the game and if they ever feel like they want to play a sequel, please make sure to tell Square Enix so that we can get the opportunity to develop one. Thank you."
