All owners of vehicles with Toyota Blue Crush paint are experiencing severe paint defect and Toyota will not make consumers whole.  Toyota take responsibility!  

Toyota will only cover paint up to 3 years or 36000 mile.  On year 4 mine and other's cars are having severe issues with blistering splitting then popping open exposing as well as flaking off in all crevices along the doors and truck.  There are multiple forums with people reporting this problem on Toyota Nation and Car problems. I've spend hours on the phone with Brand Advocates and spoke to multiple Seniors and get no resolution for 2 years now severely affecting customer experience and brand reputation.  I even had a Toyota Collision Center Manager visually inspect the car and send Toyota Corporate an email that the paint is defective with a itemized list of repairs needed.  He said "He has done this for others as the blue crush paint is defective".  However, everyone else is getting nowhere with Toyota as well. There is a reasonable expectation that when a vehicle is purchased brand new that the paint is included in the purchase of that vehicle and to be told they will not cover manufacture defects and repairs for 1000s of dollars have to come out of your own pocket is unacceptable.  Toyota, you need to do the right thing and repair the blue crush paint on your loyal consumers cars!
