What is happening in NSW hospitals?

NSW Health have not reported the vaccine status for over 65 year olds for yesterday — the 12 of Feb — which has the effect of basically concealing 16% of mortality data for the last 7 days.

This omission resulted in the 7 day moving average shifting against the unvaccinated who no longer have a clear advantage once hospitalised.

The current data shows that 93% of the people who died because of or with Omicron were over sixty years old. NSW Health omitting the vaccine status for over 65 year olds is a problem when that is the main source of mortality.

The science is in and when we approach 80% of the deaths among the vaccinated it is abundantly clear that our elderly require the vaccine plus early treatment.

Our elderly are dying needlessly therefore early treatment with previously approved 'repurposed drugs' could reduce mortality among our vulnerable by more than 60%.

We call upon the government to:

1. release doctors to be doctors under an emergency cover without threats from big pharma, medical boards, TGA regulators and other government restrictions
2. reverse their decision and stop blocking safe and effective repurposed medications that have been approve and are proven to be safe for other diseases

The time for therapeutics is now when almost everyone has been vaccinated.
