Southwest executives had 20 years to come up with a better plan than a dial-up phone for the scheduling of their employees. The carelessness of this act has now affected thousands if not millions of peoples' Holidays.  We spent half of our vacation re-booking flights that had been cancelled last minute because the Southwest Executives could not manage to execute a scheduling system for the 21st Century. This is grossly negligent. They did not do their job, therefore, they should be immediately fired and not get paid ANY compensation, bonus, benefits, 401k, golden parachute, etc. for the inhumanity of ruining Christmas for thousands and thousands of people. Southwest employees should recieve their benefits, pay for taking the brunt of it. 

Reasons Why Monetary retribution from Southwest executives is important:

  1. An apology from executives is not up to the scale of the disaster they have caused. Anyone would be fired for not performing their job of executing an up-to-date scheduling plan in the LAST 20 YEARS!!!
  2. We will never-ever get 2022 Christmas-time back with our family & friends. Ever. 
  3. The time when we should have been making merry, we spent booking another way home and stressing out.
  4. None of us will get paid for the time spent re-booking 
  5. We did not get paid for waiting 4 hours for a fight attendant to show up for our flight because of scheduling
  6. I will never get the wages lost for missing a day of work because I had to drive 21 hours to get back home instead of boarding a flight.
  7. We did not get paid to drive the exhausting 10-hour days
  8. it was not only the passengers who suffered, it was their families and friends as well. Take the number of people that have been displaced, and times it by 2 or 3. Probably a million.
  9. the Southwest employees having to deal with angry frustrated customers.
  10. The car rental companies having to deal with angry southwest customers
