The prescription drug Mirtazapine (brand name Remeron) has been approved for use as an antidepressant worldwide since the mid-1990s.  It is generally considered safe compared to other controlled substances in its class, but more and more people are beginning to come forward with symptoms of serious long-term damage as a result of taking the drug.  Because the damage is difficult to evaluate and test, the problem has gone undetected and victims of  this dangerous drug are ignored by their psychiatrists and by the industry.  

I am asking those who have been harmed by this poorly-understood drug to come forward and join me in demanding that healthcare providers and government agencies study the long-term affects and hold the industry accountable for not providing us with proper warning of the dangers prior to treatment.
