Hello, my name is Henry. I am a person who can only use his right hand to play video games due to a cerebrovascular accident I had in 2012, in which I lost the mobility of the left half of my body.

And to be able to play on the Nintendo Switch I use a 3D printed adapter, which allows me to hold both JoyCons (Nintendo Switch controllers) with just my right hand. I have been able to enjoy the gaming experience of several titles on this console, with the exception of titles in the shooter category or that involve having to move the joystick of the right JoyCon with precision. Because when holding the JoyCons in this way (with the 3D printed adapter), it is very difficult for me to be able to move the right joystick very precisely (something that is required in shooters).

That's why I haven't been able to play any games in this category on this console.

I am a gamer who has played several of the different titles in the Pokémon franchise on the Nintendo Switch and previous consoles. That's why with the recent release of the latest Pokémon game, the "Pokémon Legends Arceus" due to its new mechanic of having to aim to throw a pokeball I was hesitating for a long time whether to buy it or not. Since I didn't know if I was going to be able to enjoy the experience of the game.

However, in recent days I decided to buy it thinking that I would be able to enjoy the game using the option to use the gyroscope controls. But when using this option, I have been surprised that both axes (vertical and horizontal) are inverted. Since when holding the JoyCons with the adapter, the right JoyCon (which is the default control for the use of the gyroscope control, with no option to change it).

And playing this way has made it almost impossible for me, leaving me unable to enjoy a good gaming experience.

This is why I have decided to create this petition addressed to Nintendo, in which I explain the problem I have had and the solution I have proposed for this problem. A very simple solution, which could be implemented in a future update of the Nintendo Switch software. All this I explain in greater detail in the video above.

This is a petition about a way to increase the accessibility of the Nintendo Switch console for people with physical limitations.

I hope and hope that this request can reach Nintendo and implement these gyroscope control options and we can make the video game industry more and more inclusive and accessible to all.

Thank you all in advance for your support :D
