David Cassidy was an entertainer for almost 50 years.

His career began as an actor in the very late 60s with roles in popular TV dramas, (Bonanaza, Marcus Welby and others) He took the role of Keith Partridge in the Partridge Family and so began this iconic life of many talents.

In 1974 at the age of 24, David was the highest-paid solo performer in the world. Davids fan club was the biggest in the world, bigger than Elvis's or The Beatles' and millions of girls had his poster on their wall.

Long before Britney or Madonna created controversy with naughty photographs, he caused uproar with a 1972 nude cover shot on Rolling Stone.

On his first trip to the UK in 1972, 5000 girls camped outside his London hotel all night.

It was because of the crowds, he couldn't play Top Of The Pops in 1973, instead having to fly into Heathrow on a private jet and perform the song on the runway.

In 1985 David  toured the Uk with another triumphant return , playing venues such as The Royal Albert Hall.

His 2002 album Then And Now went into the top five in the UK charts, going platinum, and he's starred in musicals in the West End, Broadway and Las Vegas. He is now being given a Star on the Las Vegas Walk of Stars as one of the biggest entertainers at the time in Las Vegas.

 

Icon - David was idolised by millions across the globe .

Inspirational - David Cassidy was inspired by the music of the Beatles as they were David’s inspiration to pick up a guitar after seeing them on The Ed Sullivan Show. Being inspired also by Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton and Cream, David was a brilliant musician, singer , songwriter and actor. David inspired many people in the music business and in the horse breeding industry. David supported many charities and cared about people and the planet.

 

Visionary - with hope in his heart David Cassidy always sought to support a better world through his music and  gave encouragement to those his status gave him a platform to a continuous message of love, light and hope to make a difference.
